To kick-start on campus planning and readiness drive to celebrate 75 years of LDCE, a curtain-raiser event was held in front of the zero building on 1st April 2022.
As the curtain was raised, along with LD@75 Logo and theme, six core values were revealed which represent six key attributes that LDCE firmly believes in and has been imparting through its ecosystem:: 1. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE 2. INNOVATION 3. LEADERSHIP 4. COLLABORATION 5. SELF RELIANCE 6. INDUSTRY AND SOCIAL RELEVANCE.
Principal madam explained why 4×4 Rubik's cube is chosen as logo for our Platinum Jubilee Celebration year - not only because it is considered great engineering puzzle, six sides of the cube help us depict our six core values AND 16 squares on each side represent our 16 departments!
Alumni across from the globe joined the event through live steaaming AND many were present in person on the venue too, including principal madam Ms Rajul Gajjar and other prominent alumni from LDCE75 Working team members and gave insights about purpose and programs we plan to cover as move in the 75th year to celebrate the legacy while envisioning the future.
